Hi! I’m Stephani, and I’m inviting you to one of my favorite places … this round wooden table in my breakfast nook (pictured here)! I love my kitchen table – so many memories, friendships, game nights, and yes, even spills and messes! It is my hope that as you enter this virtual space you will feel like you are sitting in my kitchen, getting to know me and letting me get to know you, sharing life together as fellow wives and moms.
To start, let me share a little bit about myself. I have three great loves in my life – my Heavenly Father, my husband, and my children. I became a child of God as a young person, realized how deeply I needed Him in my early married years, and began to truly fall in love with Him just over the last few years as I’ve put in the time and effort to get to know Him better. I’ve been married to my best friend on earth for over 22 years now, and we have seven (yes, 7!) children – four girls and three boys who range from 8-21. We’ve traveled the world, compliments of my husband’s job, and our home is currently in the northern Virginia area, but we are spending 10 months in Rhode Island … until it comes time to pack up and transition again! It’s our way of life, and I’m totally fine with that. The frequent moves have stretched me, strengthened me, and caused me to always be on the lookout for new friends. I hope you will be one of those new friends!
I will warn you, though – if you are looking for a friend who’s “got it all together” then … well, you might want to look somewhere else! I’m not here to share out of a lifetime of success. Rather, I’m hoping that by sharing my own struggles, challenges, and growth you will find someone to relate to, a friend you can grow with, and encouragement to live life with the perspective of what truly matters … eternity!
